Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure an exceptional customer shopping experience.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the essential Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) in daily tasks.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management.
- Give feedback on products, inventory, and contribute to inventory counts.
- Follow cash handling policies and uphold company standards and procedures.
- Perform general cleaning duties and operate store equipment safely.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
- Excellent communication skills and a detail-oriented approach.
- Capability to work independently and within a team environment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience in retail is a plus.
- Ability to meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales.
