Job Description
We are seeking an Epic Health Information Management (HIM) Analyst to join our team at UnitedHealth Group. As part of the EHR Services team, you will play a crucial role in implementing and managing integration projects, ensuring successful project execution and alignment with EHR Services. This position offers the flexibility to work remotely within the U.S., allowing you to take on challenging tasks while enjoying a diverse and inclusive work environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work on HIM configuration changes and builds, adhering to industry and client standards.
- Translate user requirements into functional and technical design specifications.
- Serve as a mentor to team members and lead software upgrade initiatives.
- Liaise between Operations, IT, and Third-Party Systems, providing support during go-lives and system upgrades.
- Develop solid relationships with end user communities and business partners.
Required Qualifications:
- Active Epic certification in at least TWO areas.
- 5+ years of direct client experience and 4+ years of Epic healthcare experience.
- Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in relevant applications and knowledge of revenue cycle metrics.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Completed Epic CEE (Continued Epic Education) and proficiency in operational policies and procedures.
- Demonstrated ability in team management and proficiency with MS Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
Key Competencies:
- Excellent time management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Strong knowledge of Epic EMR and the implementation lifecycle.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with excellent communication skills.
