Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Director, Life Claims and Investigations to join our team at USAA, a company with a mission to support the financial security of US military members and their families. As a key member of the Life Company, you will oversee Life, Annuity & Health claims, manage the Special Investigation Unit, and develop operational strategies for claims processing and fraud prevention. This position offers a flexible work environment with relocation assistance available.
Responsibilities
- Provide guidance to staff on procedures and training materials interpretation.
- Oversee claims decisions and investigate claims and fraud issues.
- Lead the Claims Security strategic planning and identify emerging fraud trends.
- Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders and manage team performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent relevant experience.
- 8 years of business experience with 3 years in Claims and/or Insurance Fraud.
- 3 years of team lead or management experience.
- US military experience and Life Insurance claims expertise are preferred.
