CT-Technologist- PRN

Job Description

We are looking for a CT Technologist to join our team at Akumin. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for ensuring patient safety and delivering high-quality CT studies. Your role will involve effective communication with customers, including radiologists, and potentially training new technologists and Patient Coordinators.

Specific Duties:

• Ensure patient safety and use aseptic injection techniques.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Communicate effectively with customers and radiologists.
• Train new technologists and/or Patient Coordinators.
• Troubleshoot scanner, coach, and peripheral equipment.

Position Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
• Registered CT Technologist by the ARRT or certification by NMTCB.
• State license in Medical Imaging if applicable.
• CPR Certification.
• Strong customer service, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
• Basic knowledge of computer applications.
• Physical ability to meet the demands of the role.
• Completion of background check and drug screen.

Physical Requirements:

The role may involve exposure to weather conditions, blood/body fluids, and infectious diseases. Physical demands include sitting, standing, walking, repetitive movements, and patient handling.
