Construction Intern

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Construction Intern to join our team at Home Creations in Edmond, Oklahoma. As a Construction Intern, you will work closely with the Superintendent to assist with various construction, maintenance, and landscaping tasks to ensure the highest level of quality in our projects.

General Purpose

Assist the Superintendent with construction and maintenance activities, while gaining valuable hands-on experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Maintain landscaping, yards, shrubs, and trees.
• Perform minor touch-ups and activities on punch-list.
• Walk through houses daily to ensure quality standards.
• Communicate with subcontractors and attend staff meetings.
• Follow erosion control guidelines and maintain cleanliness on sites.

Requirements

• High school diploma and 6 months of general labor experience.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Basic knowledge of technology and computers.

Work Environment

Outdoor work sites with exposure to various elements and physical demands. Flexibility and adaptability are essential for this role.

Tools and Equipment

Tablet/phone, tape measure, levels, and basic hand/power tools.
