Professional Engineering Consultants (PEC) is seeking an Experienced Construction Inspector to join our Lawrence, KS team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting various civil construction projects to ensure compliance with regulations and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Inspect civil construction projects for compliance with regulations and contract specifications.
• Review and interpret construction drawings and plans.
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports and documentation.
• Interact professionally with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Conduct materials testing and field inspections as needed.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of construction inspection experience.
• KDOT Inspection Experience and certifications preferred.
• Strong knowledge of civil construction methods and safety regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and related software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Tools and Equipment

• Proficient in using smartphones, computers, measuring tools, and testing equipment.
• Valid driver's license required.
