Complex Director of Finance

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced finance professional to join our team as the Complex Director of Finance at the Sentinel Hotel & Dossier Hotel in downtown Portland, Oregon. As a key leader, you will be responsible for managing all financial aspects of our hotel operations, ensuring financial integrity and performance excellence.

Responsibilities

1. Effectively manage cash flow-related issues and communicate them to management.
2. Coordinate budgets and forecasts with the Executive Team and department managers.
3. Analyze financial data to advise management on maintaining financial objectives.
4. Ensure timely reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
5. Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures for financial resource management.
6. Establish internal financial controls and oversee financial reporting.
7. Conduct financial analysis and provide insights on revenue generation and cost control.
8. Identify and implement cost-saving measures in collaboration with department heads.
9. Maintain relationships with external stakeholders and ensure compliance with regulations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive finance or accounting experience in hospitality.
• Bachelor's or Graduate degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance.
• Strong financial acumen, budgeting, and forecasting skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership abilities.
• Proven track record in financial leadership and decision-making.
• Effective time management and prioritization skills.
