Job Description

The University of Sioux Falls is seeking a dynamic Associate Vice President (AVP) or Vice President for Institutional Advancement to join our leadership team. This full-time position reports directly to the University President and offers competitive salary and benefits for the right candidate. The ideal start date is June 1, 2024. As an essential leader, you will be responsible for advancing the university's mission through strategic fundraising, alumni engagement, and external relations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute fundraising strategies to achieve financial goals.
• Enhance donor relationships and secure philanthropic support.
• Lead capital campaigns, annual giving programs, and more.
• Oversee alumni engagement initiatives and community relationships.
• Represent the university in external partnerships and enhance visibility.
• Contribute to strategic planning and provide regular progress reports.
• Manage and mentor a high-performing team of advancement professionals.

Qualifications

• Master's degree preferred in business, communication, or related field.
• Proven experience in successful fundraising in higher education or nonprofits.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to collaborate effectively.
• Excellent communication and strategic planning abilities.
• Commitment to the Christian mission and values of the University.
