Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Nurse Manager to join the Emergency Department team at Northwest Hospital. This is a full-time position with night shift hours and the potential for a generous sign-on bonus of up to $20,000. As an Assistant Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring quality service to all patients, coordinating resources, and leading a team of healthcare professionals.
Unit Summary
The Emergency Department at Northwest Hospital is a fast-paced environment that handles over 60,000 patients annually and provides care for major and minor illnesses, orthopedic injuries, and minor trauma. The staff is known for their positive attitude, strong organizational skills, and ability to implement effective nursing interventions.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate resources to maintain quality service delivery.
- Lead and support a team of healthcare professionals.
- Assess patient status and implement clinical interventions.
- Ensure adherence to the hospital's mission, vision, and nursing philosophy.
Requirements
- Associate's degree required; Bachelor's in Nursing preferred.
- 3-5 years of nursing experience.
- Maryland RN license and CPR/BLS certification.
- National Certification in Nursing preferred.
