Job Description

Kennie's Market's Inc is seeking an Assistant Front End Manager to support the successful operation of the Front End Department under the guidance of the Frontend Manager. The ideal candidate will ensure top-notch customer service for all Kennie's customers.

Responsibilities

  • Manage register systems, bagging procedures, and cash office policies.
  • Ensure the safety and security of company assets.
  • Train new Cash Office, Customer Service, Cashiers, and Baggers following company guidelines.
  • Create weekly schedules for front end team members.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Assist with cashier tasks and provide guidance when needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness standards in the front end area, store entrance, and other designated areas.
  • Conduct timely performance evaluations for front end team members.
  • Adhere to safety and loss prevention standards.
  • Collaborate with department associates and other departments for promotions and initiatives.
  • Complete necessary paperwork accurately and adhere to uniform and name badge policies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent with related experience.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Strong mathematical abilities.
  • Ability to follow company policies and procedures.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Supervise 20-30 employees in the Front End Department.
  • Carry out supervisory duties in line with organizational policies and laws.
  • Assist with hiring, training, work allocation, performance assessments, conflict resolution, and other supervisory tasks.
