Area Manager, Critical Infrastructure

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Area Manager to oversee the critical infrastructure operations within our data centers. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining all electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and 99.999% uptime. Additionally, the Area Manager will lead a team of engineers, drive operational efficiencies, and implement best practices across markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure 24x7 on-call support for facility maintenance.
• Manage all aspects of data center operations to achieve 100% compliance with SLAs.
• Provide leadership and coaching to the team on best practices.
• Identify and implement improvements for operational and financial efficiencies.
• Develop and implement business policies and procedures.
• Oversee disaster recovery exercises and equipment installations.
• Conduct facility audits and customer tours.
• Create and maintain SOPs for maintenance operations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of management experience.
• 1+ years of root cause analysis and troubleshooting experience.
• 2+ years in critical infrastructure environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced certifications in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in data center operations.
• 3+ years of management experience.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, and lift up to 50lbs.
• Advanced keyboard usage and moderate walking.
• Travel up to 10% of the time.

Base Pay Range

• Estimated annual salary range: $112,700 - $145,400.
